Heavy Chains Dec 21 2011, 05:28 PM
The words you spoke to me They haunt my head Their embers burn angry They make me tired And older. They were conjured back up From the brutal past When you played me Secret words once uttered Grow colder. I was your chosen victim Of our dark secret Behind the campgrounds With your cold touch I Grew bolder. These are the heavy chains That hold me back Stuck in the past You're oblivious that you are My captor.
