Something I wrote for my Ex-Gf who was a cutter like myself :/ It’s a new start, Alive like the human heart. You’ve been waiting for me. Here I am. I’ve been waiting for you. Here you stand. The first word spoken. Consider the ice broken, As you whisper to my ear I love you… I hear it all to clear. I turn to whisper back. But I catch a slight glance. Beneath her jacket, color black, She saw I noticed, she awakens from her trance. She pulls down her jacket sleeve. Holds it in hand. She says I should leave. I say, don’t be bland. She lifts her sleeve very gently. Uncovering the newly made scars. She says, there’s still plenty. I feel locked behind bars. There is nothing to make her stop. I wish I could but cant.
