The pain in my heart is hurting me, Yet I pretend it’s not effecting me, Right now I feel empty and alone, My heart is heavy and jet black, My heart is pumping ink around my body. I see cuts appearing on my arms, I can’t stop them coming on, The cuts are getting deeper, It hurts me to see the damage I’m doing, But I’m afraid to stop doing it, It hurts not only me but my friends too, It hurts me to see them seeing me like this, But if I stopped I would only see scars left, There would be no memory left of what has happened to me, And I need these memories, Or my life was pointless and a waste of time.
