Do you hate yourself? Its ok if you do. Everyone has their insecurities. Have you told someone else that you hated yourself? If you did, they might tell you its wrong to hate yourself. Dont listen to them. Your teacher, parents, or a counselor could have said that to you. Instead, go to people that are like you! Theres hundreds of people like you on this website that could help you. And I can start: Hating yourself is natural. Its totally normal. People wish they could be better at something so they hate themselves for not being what they want to be. What you can do is find something your good at. Art can express how you feel. Or how you style your hair can also help you. Music is how i get past my self hatred. If that doesn't help find those flaws and embrace them. Remember your strong for knowing what your flaws are. And never let anyone make fun of you because of who you are. They obviously have nothing better to do with their lives. I hope this helped. -Sugarcane <(x.o)>

Umm.. That's right. I don't hate myself all the time... I just do it often... Sometimes even too much. But it's important to enjoy yourself as well.

Sadly the only time I don't hate myself is when I'm playing my bass clarinet, & when I'm in my boyfriends arms....which those two things only come like once a day. And during the summer those two things never happen :(

"Hate" is a strong word and it is never right to "hate" yourself, because a total lack to love for yourself degrades your self esteem and respect and can cause you to harm yourself and others. There is nothing "right" about it. However, it is natural to feel INADEQUATE and or not good at times, but it should never be a continual feeling; it is right to feel INADEQUATE FROM TIME TO TIME. That's why major ( continual,constant) depression is considered unhealthy. "Hatred" towards yourself and others will NEVER be correct. Those of you who do indeed hate yourselves, must accept that you must find ways to overcome those feelings; be it through the ways you mentioned above, or through the ways mentioned by the topic starter;however, always strive to attain love for yourself and one another and minimize the times you feel drowned in self hate.

sometimes i do, but that's usually if i let my anger get outta control, then i hate myself cuz i let other people see me in tht way and/or hurting them as well(not physical)
