Ok I've notice that alot of young people when it comes to life in genural or their life that it's aload of shit and there's not point in living or other saying like that, and it is starting ti get annoying. Why can any of you think more positively about your life instead of thinking of life sooo negatively? If your just going to think everything negatively no wonder your feeling like shit!! People need to think more positively about life. Even if it only gives you a slight positive it's still something to think 'Well atlest i've still got family/music/education/future t o look up too, etc' :) I've acted like this ever since i've stopped cutting and ended councillign and it's made me view life in aa different light :) i think you should too :)

Yeah it may be annoying. Especially when these kids have most of things they need. Some ppl just thing that if their life sucks they're more... Alternative? Interesting? Idk. My bf was homeless, now almost is. He has no family (well.. Only this that we'd rather don't know). No job and is discriminated for his piercings. And he's still positive. Even helps other ppl and never moans about his own situation. I know lots of ppl from the street, enjoying their lives. I know the way problems can make us stronger. Much stronger. But then I know how much life can be depressive for someone sensitive. I know how hard is it to fight these feelings... Here's too many of these subjects. And they're like making stereotypes more true (about emo being kids making problems for themselves and crying about their not-so-bad lives).

Honestly though just because some people are able to deal with their problems better than others. Granted ur BF may be able to stay postive with his problems but other people may be weaker and need help with 'little' things, because what seems little to you can be big to them! rather than trying to have a go at them try and help them get over it after all thats wat you said ur BF does sometimes :) Their is never a point where u should give up on a person never, if they need help then always be ready to give it to them, rather than complain about it!!!

i know i'm not trying to and i do try and help people, everyone gets there downers... it's really to the people who cannot seem to find any positive what so ever and just keep complaining even when people are trying to help.

I know that many young people rant and vent in their journals, and talk about many things that are on their mind. Honestly, it helps themselves from exploding for holding things in for long. Many people do it, and many people should think positive about their life, because it's just much better to think about all is positive instead of negative, though others have a different way of thinking.

I agree, and if people rant in their journals thats fine, its their journal after all other people dont have to read it if they dont want to. And its possible that those people which constantly say they have nothing to be happy about, may actualy feel as though they have nothing happy to talk about! And it can be frustrating somthimes to help people like that, but in reality its people like that who need the most help, they need to know there is someone there who is willing to help them, rather than just turn their back on them! so honestly no matter which way you look at it, those kinds of people that need to be helped, and not complained about by other people on this site. seriously if a person doesnt have somthing HELPFUL or NICE to say dont say it at all!
