So here is the problem, i've been single for a year now and I think i deserve something good in my life, because i cant remember the last time I felt happy,recently everything has turned to shit in my life, and I just want a boyfriend thats the only thing that would then be in my life.

Just get chatting to people on here and other sites that you could possibly meet. Also in person of course if you have the confidence. With a bit of effort you'll find someone as there are loads of single and looking people out there..

feeling happiness can come from alot of different things in life...society makes it seem as only a "boyfriend" can fulliful that aspect but that is not necessarily true....you just have to do things that make you happy first in order to gain the happiness you are looking for....someday if not now...a guy will come. :)

^ Totally agree. Happiness does not come from someone else, it comes from within. If you're not happy, it's difficult to make anyone else happy. I say get yourself straightened out first, then go search for a boyfriend. Being single sucks, I know...But it doesn't hurt to fly solo for a bit to focus on yourself.

Well... you don't need a boyfriend to be happy... to be honest i wouldn't rely on a boyfriend to give you all your happiness..try and find something that makes you happy not just a boyfriend cause what if it doesn't work you can't just be completely miserable cause it does eventually fuck with your life and annoy others. Like try just having fun with friends and find a hobby you enjoy :)

These comments remind me of something i read once, was like... If you feel like you need someone else to complete you, you cant be in a relationship. Because it takes 2 to make a relationship work and not 1 and a half.

I'm tired of being single aswell. It's incredibly depressing. It's not too bad when I'm out boxing and stuff cause it keeps my mind off it but when I come back to my flat and sit down, it really gets to me, I just want someone there. I've tried finding someone online but people either ignore my messages or fuck me around. One girl, I met up with her, everything went amazing, then once I got home she decided to let me know she had a boyfriend. Others usually arrange to meet me then cancel on me at the very last minute. I had one do it last night, she was meant to be over today, she text me saying her ex had hung himself. He could have actually hung himself but after all the times I've been fucked around I'm finding it difficult to trust anyone. Is there something wrong with me or something? Why does nothing go right for me? -__-

Trust is very very difficult nowadays especially with all the social networks out there. I hear so many stories about people being unfaithful...it's depressing. However it doesn't stop me because there are some special girls out there that won't be total losers!

So many girls have screwed me around it's unreal, I thought to begin with it was because I was too trusting and nice, now I think it's just cause a lot of them are total arseholes. It really is depressing tbh. If you ever manage to find any who live around Cambridge, send them my way? Haha.

totally i no how much it sucks not have a bf i haven't had one in almost a year now but the guys that do usually hit on me r like 10 years older than me it freaks the hell out of my dad but u'll find the right one sum day.

im tired of being alone all the time and not being happy but no one seems to like me that way and it makes me feel like im not good enough
