Drop Down My Account Menu May 13 2013, 03:52 PM
As some of you old members may have noticed the whole account navigation system has been changed. It is now all based on a drop down menu at the top of the page which also shows your number of notifications. This menu is on every page when you are logged in. It has been tested in Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome, etc as well as mobile devices such as iPhone, iPad, Nexus,.. Oh and it's a purely CSS based menu so also works with JavaScript disabled for those who know what I'm on about! Feedback has been mostly positive so far but if you have any issues let me know. It may be a bit of a shock to some of you guys and girls that have been a member for a while, but is the way forward..

When i log out, and than log in, all my private messages are gone..

That's supposed to happen, it clears your account home so you don't end up with like 75 notifications (happens whenever I forget to log out every evening) you can still see your private messages by clicking on the link to your private messages in your menu. It just prevents your account home from getting cluttered

^True. Nothing is ever lost... The new menu has been improved further following feedback so it doesn't interfere with the chat at all. Unlike on all other pages it's set to be fixed to the top of the page now rather than scroll when you scroll if that makes sense...

Can you do the same for the pages where you write messages/comments? I find that it sometimes takes up half the text box and I can't see what I'm typing, and it's hard to get rid of it.

...its like weird...:O... matthew just wondering on peoples journal post you can comment thb I don't always have something to say would it b possible to have like a like button but not a like button...so something like "this rocks£ (cheesey slightly) if yu get what a mean!! :P xx
