I don't know what to do anymore. I can't talk to my mum without her getting snappy with me :(. I used to tell her everything (well, nearly) and now i don't tell here anything! I don't know whether she doesn't like my music choice or my beliefs or just me! I'm not cheeky to her unless she starts mouthing off about my life or stuff like that. I'm not even going to start about my dad. I don't wanna talk about that.

Hmm, it's hard to find out what parents are thinking half of the time and their expectations of you. For example my dad is one of those who scolds me not because I do something wrong but because I don't do something that is right or the most obvious thing to do which I think is really wrong. Try to just find out what your mother is thinking of you and you will be fine.

I can completely sympathise. My whole life I've had to put up with a controlling mother who goes off on one if I ever try to talk to her (but then moans at me when I don't talk to her??) This is not just my opinion of her, people who've actually seen how she treats my family in private say she's like this. It could just be that your mum's a little stressed atm, or it could be that yes, she doesn't agree with your lifestyle choices. If it's stress, hopefully things should get better once the stress reduces in her life, but if it's your lifestyle, I'm afraid the only thing you can do is just stick it out whenever you're with her :/
