my last self harm story and my recovery Jul 09 2013, 12:44 AM

The last time I ever self harmed I was 13 and it might have been my 10th or 11th time but I know as of now it was my last. I got into some trouble at home at school and home and my parents got so mad at me they didn't even think to concert me when I cried when I got to school all I heard was `freak fat emo slut skank whore etc.` and so I stole my friends pencil sharpener and after lunch went in to the campus bathroom and threw up :'( I went home with the urge to cut on my mind I got home and I was getting yelled at by my dad to do a better job saying it wasn't good enough for him so I told my mom I was gonna take a shower and I took the blade off the sharpener and cut 20 fish times plus the word victim because I was certain I was gonna kill myself but I didn't cause soon after that my dad took me to a psychiatric ward and when they said. Had to stay there for 3-5 days he held me so tight and called me his baby and then I realized I WAS loved. I have been clean for 103 days today

It's really brave of you to post that here. Glad to hear you're doing well, it's a difficult cycle to break out of once you get too far in :(

I know.... im glad as well I will admit I have had some relapses but hey that's one of the stages of recovery so im happy.. thank you for your comments
