Emo Group meet Birmingham ,UK 2013 Aug 14 2013, 04:40 AM

I've been given the go ahead to organise this meet up so thanks matt =) The meet has been CANCELLED due to recent happenings in Birmingham city centre and recent trouble involving 'alts' in the park the meet was due to be held in Sorry for any problems this has caused but thankyou for all the interest in a meet =) the 28 th of September proved most popular date as such the meet will be held then I suggest we hold the meet at Birmingham Cathedral also known as Pigeon park located on Colmore Row, B3 2QB as it is just off the high street but has very good public transport links and signing. It is about a minute walk from Birmingham snow hill train station and 5 minutes from New Street station.The park has regular bus services that stop directly outside it. Please be aware public transport will be operating on a saturday service and will be worth checking for delays and times on google before you leave As for time i'd say aim to be there by 12 noon and bring something to eat/drink or you can buy something from the places around the park.No BBQ's are allowed. the 28th of September proved the most popular as such this is the date the meet will be held on =) a place and time will be added shortly once decided a PM has been sen to all listed or interested please keep a eye on pm's and this topic for further updates =)

Sounds a good idea (maybe). I know Birmingham quite well (actually I go there twice a year). I would rather go with someone near my age though...

this will bee a last minute decision for mee, will have too see if i can afford the the fuel too get there and back as im not taking public transport there again, if i can find a place too crash the night I'll be a definite otherwise put mee down as maybe :)

been checking it out and its going too cost mee a fortune in fuel so going too have too bite the bullet and go public transport, im still not a definite all depends on where the hell the train actually decides too stop, i aint getting lost again lol

there's three main stations in the center of Birmingham the biggest being New street station (most long distance trains stop here ) and i'm willing to meet people early at stations as i'm coming in via the train myself =)
