Ok, so, i'm not dating a guy who isn't emo or anything really. He's not a popular jock, he plays electric bass and likes Linkin Park, but yeah.... So, is this a good or bad thing. I mean, I love him, but will it end in disaster when he tries to stop me from being emo, or something?

Well your post clearly says it all, doesn't it? You don't want it enough. It seems like you're the one making a fuzz about it, writing a thread. Why would it matter what kind of clothes you wear and what kind of people you hang out with, if the person per say is a really great one? God ppl, learn to think on your own.

I've been in a relationship with the same, very non-emo guy for 4 years now and we're talking about getting married. For us, the style differences have never caused any problems, only some good humored teasing. In simple terms, it shouldn't matter if you're emo and he's not, if you guys belong together, that shallow stuff won't (and shouldn't) mean anything.
