In love with this one person. That one person is the complete opposite of me. He is the sweetest guy I've met so far, but as you may guess I'm totally shy to even salute him! I wish I knew what to do. I know most of you will say something like " go talk to him" but for me it's impossible. Is there anything else I can do to approach him?

Hello Scissorsheart, First of all it could be that this guy is just as shy as you are. Don't assume just because he's sweet that he's very confident, you may be more closely matched than you think! If that's the case it would be a real shame for you not to get to know one another, and yes, sooner or later one of you is going to have to seize the initiative and introduce yourself! There are however a number of subtle ways you can go about this. Perhaps you could just smile at him and make sure you catch his eye this may prompt a response from him, if he smiles back your heart will truly flutter and may encourage you to speak further! If he's someone you study/work with you could offer to help him with his work or even ask him for help with yours, its a great way of finding more about him and whether you get on as a team.
