I feel alone. A warm room full of laughter, she is standing outside with the cold bearing down on her, she stares through the frosty window. A feeling draws her towards something out of reach. Hoping, maybe someone will find her. It will be too late for that someone to find her soon. But all she can do is wait by the glass portal. If she leaves, the occupants may look out into the cold darkness and see nothing, confirming there already certain thoughts. If she stays, the abyss will consume her. All she needs is their acceptance, Why is that so hard to obtain? Why do they make it so hard? In the end nothing will matter, but what to do until then? She needs to use the time wisely, to reduce her suffering or their suffering. But which one? Be selfish or selfless? Everything is difficult, there are no certainties, nothing to rely on, no fixed points in time. Everything is constantly changing. Maybe, that's the only thing I can count on.
