What was the band that got you into more alternative music? I think mine was Muse... not that alternative I know but it was different to what I was used to and it just progressed from there.

Mine was Breaking Benjamin. I didn't really get into them that much but they were the first rock band I heard that I liked.

I guess I've always listened to more alternative stuff. Think it was Slipknot that got me more into it.

mine were no doubt and garbage i was really get into alternative music before i began to listen to hardcore and metal music I think that these bands were the first who really liked to me in rock :3

The amity affliction and slipknot were probably the first heavier bands that I started listening to, I've always listened to rock music though (acdc and black sabbath)

Mine was Blink-182 :3 Then I started listening to Simple Plan, Evanescence, etc. It was the era of nu-metal and pop-punk back then in 2004. :P

Green Day *face turns a thousand shades of red* when American Idiot got released I listened to some alt bands before but GD changed everything <3 Then mcr & afi got me more into emo music <33

Probably Evanescence or Paramore but Ghost Town kinda pushed me towards it and then Black Veil Brides just abducted me into it!

All Time Low. When Nothing Personal came out the local pop station would play Weightless and Damned If I Do Ya. It was great. From there I started listening to Blink-182 and fallout boy and my music taste just kept expanding and expanding. Now I listen to almost everything but mostly alternative music and some bands people would consider "scenie weenie" but I don't care. I love all music, it's just amazing.

For me? Probably green day and nirvana at first. I liked the alt and grunge scenes.Then i started to listen to Seether. But then i went to a dark place and pierce the veil pulled me out of it.
