Does anyone else have Social Anxiety? Cause I do and it makes me feel worthless and I just wanna know if other people know what its like

I won't say it's social anxiety (no official diagnosis because I avoid doctors like the plague) but I do have anxieties surrounding social situations. I know what you mean though, it makes me feel really pathetic too

I have a small amount of social anxiety but mainly just in large crowds or being surrounded by people,it makes me get sweaty and my heart starts beating erratically,smoking helps though and its not crippling or anything

i have very intense social anxiety, so i understand how you feel! it's difficult. when i have to talk to people i'm not really close to irl i start feeling nauseous and my heart starts beating really fast. i also get really tense and my hands start shaking. usually to cope i always listen to music, but people usually look at me funny because i seem so weird. i always feel a bit disgusted with myself after i socialise because i always say the worst things and feel like people are judging me, but it makes me feel better knowing that there's other people that experience the same thing.

I have social anxiety and depression, had it since I was 13 but they just put it down to being 'shy'... seeing a councillor now and started CBT, getting nowhere but try to have just one person that you can totally open up to about anything and everything, helped me a lot.

Social anxiety is a normal process of stress. Lots of people have it, if not most. You are not unique, so you will do just fine.

I don't know if I have the actual social anxiety as diagnosed by a doctor, and I try not to say I have it because it's quite offensive to people who actually have social anxiety, but just going outside and seeing people makes me feel extremely panicky. I also may have OCD because if I hear a really annoying sound like nails on chalk or drilling, I have a habit of clicking my tongue exactly three times, and I do other things like that too

I have social anxiety quite often when i have my down periods like more sweating, talking to fast and my heart racing in social situations and etc.. but its ok sometimes with the help of my therapist :)

I have social anxiety and generalized anxiety disorder and panic disorder and almost can't get through everyday life

Everyone suffers from some sort of anxiety or anxious feelings... this just happens in certain situations. However, some forms of anxiety are different from others. I have, general anxiety which results in a ton of crying spills and honestly little things. It’s a process but I promise we will all get through all these anxieties ^^
