I'm going for a trial session tomorrow. I ordered a goth coat and some armwarmers. So, I've been mixing up dark clothes and black clothing trying to figure out what really fits me. I guess my question is. Do gentlemen necessarily have to wear makeup or is that just the ladies?

I don't understand your question. You asked if anyone tried guitar lessons. Then you mix it up with what your clothes. And after that, you ask if its necessarily to wear make up, or is it just for ladies.

Well most emo groups/bands play guitar. Dress up in black and wear makeup. Right?
