My name is Ashton. I go by Ashton Havok or XxDespairFactionAshtonxX online. I have been emo since 2009. I got into the subculture through my younger cousin who was showing me cool bands on MySpace like Alesana. I fell down that rabbithole and havent come back since. I am now 26 years old. I grew up in Wisconsin, just north of Milwaukee. I moved to the St. Louis, Missouri area in 2015, right after my graduation. I am now taken and living with my amazing girlfriend Juniper (June) Fox.

Today was kinda productive. We set up a cool canopy around our bedroom work station with Halloween creepy cloth. It also has plastic chains hanging around it. It compliments the AFI and HIM posters, and the purple lights in the room very well. I have been thinking about getting dead tree branch and bat wall stickers since this house is being rented and we cant paint the walls. I would also like to add striped wallpaper to give the room a Tim Burton aesthetic. I have cool Halloween decorations and Skelanimals surrounding the computer desk. It fits all so well together with my boyfriends brand new desktop that he built all by himself. I should upload a pic of it sometime on here.

I finally scheduled my first COVID-19 shot this week and I am super relieved. I work an "essential" job (I guess not essential enough for at least working for $11 an hour *eye roll*) and I am getting bloody tired of assholes in this god forsaken racist town walking right up to me and purposely breathing on me because I wear my mask. Havent gotten sick once yet so I am keeping my fingers crossed. My boyfriend has been struggling with his panic disorder a lot lately and it has been draining. I just want to get both of my shots so I can finally go out and do things again. Maybe a concert or travelling to see family would be optimal, however, I am waiting for everyone else to also get their vaccinations. I am still keeping my eye on what the CDC says about post-shot precautions for the summer months. More people will be out again, and I think one thing this pandemic has taught me is that the people of the United States are staggeringly selfish. Good news is that I actually got in touch and started talking to Lonny Eagleton of Black Veil Brides. He is their new bassist that filled in for the former bassist Andrew (Ashley) Purdy. Dude is super nice. He complimented my clothing brand which was shocking to me, I didn't think he would go as far to look into the shirts I make. Got some cool insider info about what the band is doing on call with him, cant say anything though but I know you guys already should have seen that they're teasing a new song for the 9th. So I guess I can say that now. I wanna meet up with Lonny in person when they tour again. I think it would be fun to bring my boyfriend to his first BVB show and get to actually meet the band. I have seen them live twice and didn't get that kind of opportunity. I really want to hear stuff from RSTW performed live, since they stopped performing songs from that album prior to it's remaster. Anyways, gonna work on some things today and hope nothing bad happens. TTYL.
