Am I the only one who didn't really have any 'emos' at their school? Yes I am old :D

tell Bob I said hi :D! I didn't dress emo or anything, but everyone just /knew/ that there was something different about me in middle school, probably due to all my pessimistic comments or my introvert-ness. I don't think emos "existed" during that time tho .X. all the guys wanted to be sports jocks and all the girls wanted to look like Britney Spears; ._. I always ended up with the "left-over" group with the kid who wore pink and used excessive eye liner and all the out-of-state kids haha. x] I went to a nerd highschool (where you gotta take a test to get in) so finding random wild emos in the tall grass is a rare case. :l I did have some emo friends though, they're great and i love them very very very much <3 we traded fashion tips and one of them introduced me to Jimmy Eat World, Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, and the Used , which I <3 her much for.

Back in my school there were no "emo" kids, nothing even close lol. The rap and r&b scene is very popular around where I live, the ghetto style is what you mainly find in school around here..rap music seems to be the only "acceptable" music where I live..it sucks :/

Where I live we have the punks, emos, goths, and scenesters ALL hanging out and it seems like a lot but in all actualality in a school of like 2000 (yeah my school is HUGE) we don't really have that many. However it seems like there are tons and tons and that they rule the school for me because thats really all I hang with. Also we have the fake preppy people that stole the whole scene/emo style and try and use it but it doesnt work. then we have the so called chavs that sag all the time and its just weird. Also my school is like a GIANT family so we all get along which means no getting mad fun of. However in the school in the town over (which is maybe 10 miles from our school) There are like NO emo kids. My friend Britt. spent the night and said she wanted a transfer because of how little emo kids there are there... she says she feels out of place

ther are two goths in my year ones kind of a bitch and the other is nice but only cares about her bf nw and if she not careful she will lose her friends... sad. Im the only emo in the WHOLE SKL O.0 my skl is full anf FULL of gobby chavs who think there all hard:(.I have a punk friend and my other friends are kind of chavy/girly girls but i dont care beac they might not understand my style and music but they dnt judge me, there awesome ,i <3 them and wouldnt change them for the world >__< i think if you find some friends who have your back and dnt judge you even if they dnt understand your style or music hold on 2 them because there true friends and true friends are hard to find :) x

I guess, Emo's here aren't like that. They're kinda like the "cut wrist" type of person XD Here in my country, once you've said the word "Emo" the first thing that comes to their mind is suicide and wrist cutting, which I'm kinda annoyed :D And... In school, it's not okay for the teachers there to look like emo's or scene. GAHH! I hate it :( The school here just simply.... sucks. LOL! I mean, it's not like the schools there in US, you don't have your own style here. :P And.. as I've said, I can't feel that I'm emo because of that thing. xD

All i have is preps and gangsters at my school. Im always getting told to go cut my wrists but, i dnt really care. My really close friend is punk though. So, i guess we're the only two "misfits" at my gay school who aren't afraid to be ourselves.

my school is so fricking chavvy :L you have the year 11 emo group and the year 10 rocker/emo group and then the year 9 wannabe emo's :L and thats it altogether thats about 15 kids in a schoolof over 1000! i was like frickk

Me and this dude named Calix(his parents are hippies) Lol. But he's one of those emos who would rather eat a pack of chalk before he'd actually try to talk to someone :P He just sits around like a mouse and draws pictures or writes stuff in his tablet. He told me "Cheer up. Things could get worse." when I was upset one day. And hasn't talked to me ever since :(

In my school, I'm the only one. there's not really a dominant style but a lot of kids are like in the Jerk Scene and there are gangsters. But we all get along, it's kind of a good school in that way. The ones that don't get along with everyone are the gansters. I'm just myself, and no one seems to care about each others way of dressing and music or whatever.
