Does anyone constantly want to have their knife, blade, or whatever with them everywhere they go??? I do. I just like knowing it's there in my pocket, and that it's with me when I need it.

RoseFall - do the elastic band trick - put one round your wrist and keep flicking it against your wrist. If you can't find an elastic band, use a hair tie, not quite as effective but still works. I've also heard that submerging your face in cold water for a couple of seconds helps but I've never tried it so I can't say first hand that it does. I find ripping paper helps a little too :) I don't carry mine with me (used to for a little while but don't now) cuz I never do it when I'm not at home, but yes, I still have my blade at home. I'd freak if I didn't have it, I tried not having one and just found it harder, I think it's kinda comforting knowing it's there if I need it :)

last year I carried it around with me everywhere, and this year I don't because people always look in the little pouch that I carried it in, just to be nosy... but I did find that when I did have it, I was a MILLION times less likely to cut

im really sorry i dont know how to put this but lets just say im back to 0 days clean of cutting gahh cant believe i only got to 18 days clean thats rubbish D:

18 days is really good, that's over 2 weeks! And it means you're getting better, it's the longest you've managed for a good while, so you're improving!

For the moment, don't make your goal to give up completely, just make it to give up for as long as you can manage. Idk about you, but the idea of NEVER doing it again kinda scares me, so if you just agree that you won't do it for however long you can manage then it seems less scary and more do-able :)
