A Poem For The Broken And Weary-Souled Aug 23 2011, 11:58 AM
Every soul must die The solemn raven cries Its beak as bleak as ice cold hearts Its feathers stitched from broken parts Its dying glow a glimpse of light Its weary eyes as black as night With photo flash smiles And lies all over paper He watches a tortured woman Drown in pain With no attempt to save her As her last breath lingers on a river of blood The river swells, too full of souls And breaks the banks to flood To drown the lands in its sorrow To catch the teardrops of the broken and weary-souled And rid the world of tomorrow A fading ghost calls out to the broken and the crying Tomorrow is gone Today is dying So long Farewell What was once your home Is now your hell.
