This is Kind of Confusing.... (long read) Apr 11 2012, 05:13 AM

Okay, there's a guy and he's one of my very good friends. He's also my ex and it still stands as the longest relationship I've had. We've promised to always stay friends but it's not always as good a friendship as I would like. We get on each others nerves just like everybody else But there are points in the friendship where just being by ourselves together gets steamy and we've gotten in trouble of it many times. This has happened a few times, the steamy situations anyways. It goes back and forth from steamy to aggrivating. Recently, he's made another move and brought it all back up again. I don't know what to do. I still care for him and he claims to do so too but when we are around any other people what-so-ever, he acts like I'm the most nerve racking thing to ever live. What should I do?

if he cant show that he still cares for you infront of other ppl then y deal with it its just going to hurt you in the long run

If this Guy cant show that he still cares for you infront of others , he probably dosent.. and I am not saying this to be rude or cruel ,I hang out with 99% males , so i kind of have a knowledge of how their minds work. from the way it sounds , I really dont think he is meant for you, if someone really cared , they would have no problem showing the world what you mean to them. my advise , move on from this guy , he is only playing your heart at this point.

i'm guy, and i'm probably as heartless as they come. but if i actually had feelings for a girl, i'd do my best to show them, no matter where we are, or who we're with. as a guy i'd say, he's only looking for one thing, so forget and move on.

I guess you guys are right but its something that is hard to believe. Its been a least a week since then and almost nothing has happened. All except for cases where you can tell two people have an inside joke by the way they catch each others eyes. I cant say that Im dismissing what youve said, its just that hes a complicated guy and he hides his feelings VERY WELL.

I partly agree with Victoria8-Bit, but some guys are just very cocky and like to show off around others... Public displays of affection are great, but too much is a well a bit of a turn off.

I believe that's what he's doing. He's aways been cocky and pushes his luck. But I would kill to be as close as we once were just so that I could figure out what I am to him.

It's good that you and your ex are still friends, hardly any ex's try and be friends nowadays -_- But it will be awquid (can't spell) if you two don't completely get over the fact that the realtionship was the past...i do get a sense that you or both of you still haven't 100% and hense why the situations happen. lso depends how long too if the split up was recent the friendship will most likely not be as good as before.

to be honest i was with an ex who when around mates was a real dick towards me, like changed to a completely different person. Some (as people have stated) can just be like that -_-
