Run out of medication, wont get any for another week and nightmares are ten times worse than they used to be. Anyone know a way to either stop them or dial it down?

maybe get yourself nice and calm before going bed... stress is known to make it worse and whatnot. Maybe try breathing exercises ot whatnot to calm you.

to cope with my flash backs i try and wear myself out as much as possible so i fall straight into sleep skipping the REM sleep that nightmares, dreams etc occur in otherwise i distract my mind with music, work etc anything that helps me focus my thoughts away from the triggers hope this helps you

I'm not gonna lie, if you are old enough and it is something you are ok with get drunk and go to sleep, it helps if my night-terrors get too bad.
