Recently two people i very much like have asked me if i would consider dating them, however BOTH are just under a yr younger than myself.. this slightly off puts me as from (the little)experience that i have, i tend to find they (younger dates) are either 1. (Generally) more immature 2. things just end up becoming kinda awkward 3. It's sort of weird for a girl to be going out with a younger guy Anyone else ever had this problem ?

Depends on the age generation, for teenagers they get really clicky about 1-2 years difference. When you're in your 20's it doesn't really matter i've seen couples with 5+ years age difference cos they're adults by then. But to me it doesn't matter, though teenagers are more immature and you find those relationships never last.

i don't thin kit matters... as said people get all weird which a gap more then 1-2 years but then there's couple who have a 10 year gap and is seen as all right. I mean in my eyes and my age i wouldn't go out with someone who's younger then me just because they'll probably annoy me due to not being as matured up as me but it doesn't really matter. XD :)

Honestly? Just go for it. One year is not a big deal. And in the end, if you like someone, what does it matter whether there's a few years age difference?

I think NotWithoutAFight is right, most teenagers are really immature, by my part, I don't consider myself immature, and I see relationships really pointless, I guess my girlfriend only wanted me so she won't feel alone, you know. It doesn't hurt me, because I know what would've happened if I'm together with an older person. Now, it all depends on how you feel. And in national laws, too.
