Hey guys I've just been poking around on the Internet lately and I've been really sad to see many people saying that the emo scene is dying and the new thing is hipster. Personally I think hipster is pretty plain (not to offend anyone) but I mean it's not even alternative!!! It's not even cool like us. I mean I guess I'm still here and all of you are still here, but have any of you seen a decline in our style and culture? I don't want hipster to take over. Do any of you think we should start a new spark somehow or "wave" if you will of our kind? I mean I don't mean go and try to convert people and turn the whole population into posers but I definitely believe we should inspire younger ones and pass the style down. Do any of you agree??? Does anyone disagree??? Please share your opinions, thanks

I made and run this site and judging by the statistics it's not on the decline on here anyway. However in the "real world" there has been a slight decline in the last few years in my opinion, but I feel the emo scene will stay reasonably popular for a while yet!! Keep the scene alive :)

Agreeing with Matty :) if you look at the site then you can see that it's far from going extinct, there's new members joining every day! As long as the music and fashion and lifestyle is still around, Emo will always be around

Well.. In my opinion, there are many Emo people in real life just like here. They are rare, but there are. But the Emo scene will always be alive, doesn't matter who is keeping it alive, it will. It might change a little but it will always be the same.
