As silken tendrils of sinister ink, anguish a guarded spirit steadily afflicts

Caressing the very core in its deepest eternal pits.

Ensuing hollowness warps mind and soul;

Breathlessness like a smarting ache conveys the weight of crushing regrets.

A shallow hole where once was light

Bought crumbling inward to cower below the last skeleton

Of a forgotten world,

Only a mere weak shadow

Beneath a dark and bitter new sun
