At a guess what would you say is the average age for emo people in general? I mean I have recently turned 25 and am certainly one of the older people on this site. After a few replies I will work out and let you know the average age on this site.

i wld generaly say abt 16, 17..few ppl i knw that are emo r my age or jst a year younger than me.. though i hav been emo since i was abt 14 so not really sure it cld be younger... well jst wait nd see wat other ppl think :)

i am 21 and i am emo 4 years sooo the average is 15-16-21 and so on..it can be even 30:) !

I think the average is like.. 14-16 xD Althought there is alot older and younger too... i dunno xD

yeah..mostly emos are teen. so probably around 14-19..

Well im 12 and i only know emos in my school and i went to a conscert lastnight and i saw some emos about 2o odd so id say about 12-20

It's fine to be into emo fashion and music whatever your age. Cutting has nothing to do with it.

every one can be an emo person.... you can see it unto their real self... and as an emo you can state that the more difficult to say is if your a true emo...well, they say that they are emo..but they are not...in somehow...age doesn't matter. it is just on the fact that they need to let go their feelings in different ways..... XD
