Ok so I know this is a topic that everyone will have a view on. Parents are one of the most frustrating things in the world and weve all dealt with them. I hate my mom for a variety of reasons. But the main reasons we dislike our parents are: -They try to run your life -Shout at you for random things (most of time not your fault) -They dont understand you -They try to control you -They force you to do things -You cant escape them or there stupidd dum rules. So comment here and share your views about your parents, some people may love their parents but i know some dont. So you can rant and share all you like. This is a strict NO PARENT ZONE!!!!!

i hate my mom and she said one time that she has stopped loving me and that is true so i have no mom >:( (thats what it feels like) and i love my dad he is the best <3 x

My Father beats me and my mother, he's always drunk and when hes not home hes always down at the pub. My Mother is useless and does nothing to stop it, and she sometimes tries to blame me for it. Mothers are supposed to love and help you, but my Mother doesn't, one time she was smoking in the flat, my Father hates smoking (unless it's him) and he got really angry, my Mother said it was me, and he beat the shit out of me. I'm surrounded by people who hate me.

Well, i'm not sure. I got nothing against my parents really, not to be a party pooper but they do what they do for a reason. Without them i would probably be on the street, think of how much worse it could have been if they never cared. My parents force me to do stuff, but i don't hate them. I appreciate that they concern about me, but i think i can chose what i want to do with my life. They do it for a reason though, but some reasons are just stupid...idk what to say, in this case it is really stupid......before you make a statement it's important to put the feelings aside and rationalize

I kinda agree with voltaire..... and I can't understand how could you hate your mother.....for me my mother is the most important person in the world!!!..and I hate my dad....I'm sorry to say it...but...=/ ......he never talk to me so I never talk to him....it's like one alien living in my house.....

I know many say there's a difference between being genetically programmed to care about someone and love, but I think I really do like my parents. Can't say their the strictest parents ever, in all fairness. But really, they wouldn't restrict you, "try to control you" and lay down rules, curfews, etc if they didn't care about you. Even if it is annoying, they do respect you and you should respect them for that atleast. Also, with a lot of teens its a space thing, a lot of people get on better with their parents when they move out and all that jazz. I mean when parents beat up their kids and stuff, that shit's not acceptable, ofcourse, they deserve all the hate and shouln't be parents. But really you shouldn't hate your parents for caring about you. Laying down rules and stuff comes as naturally to them as loathing them does to you, rememba. But you're obviously fucked off, it's all cool. :)

What if I told you all I was a parent? J/k I'm not and don't intend on doing so for a very very long time. I don't speak to my father often but I know he cares. As for my stepmom, there are many thing she did which created a lack of confidence or certain behaviors discouraged; I don't appreciate how she raised me. When it come to my biological mother though, I love her and she's done nothing but support me in my ambitions to deserves to be where she is now because she's happy :)

im sorry to hear that , be cuz i know how u feel, my mother is a crack addict and i never meet her but all the drugs made her crazy , and i used to live with my dad and stepmother and my two stepbrothers . my dad is a drunk to and he just let my step mother and stepbrothers beat me and he smy dad , im his only child , ued think he would protect me right , wrong and when my gramma when to court to get custide of me so i could live with her cuz she found out what was happening my father stood up in front of a court room full of people and and called me a liar , and defended that bitc* and her evil kids who by the way almost raped me , and he chose them over me , i now live with my gramma and dont speak to him, i escaped , i wish i could help u escape too

My real Dad fucked off when my Mum was pregnant I don't really talk to my step Dad much and there's not really any problems. My relationship with my Mum is perfect, she lets me get peircings (so long as they're not on my face other than my nose) and she let's me get tattoos if they can be hidden. She really let's me do whatever I want except stay out over night where there are no parents she can talk to about it. Basically, parents may moan and shout at you but mostly they do it because they have made mistakes in thier own lives and want to protect you from doing the same. They want whats best for you.

My parents tried to give the best they could for me more my dad than my mum if im completely honest i could always talk to my dad but my mum does spend quite a bit of money on me for things i need. I do try and tell my mum i love her just wish i told my dad more if im compltely honest. I think some people take their parents for granted and you dont know what you have until its gone. My mum does get on my nerves like anything and we rarely get on but i know if i lost her too i wouldnt be able to cope. Losing my dad is hard enough anyways i wouldnt say im copiing but id say im living with it because there sint anything i can do. overall parents try their best for their children. They only annoy us and keep us in and tell us off because they dont want us getting hurt.

I suppose it depends on your experiences, it's easy enough to say that someone's being ungrateful to their parents when you're on the outside looking in. Parents aren't just a role, they're people in their own right just as we are people in our own right, not just 'child'. It doesn't seem to matter how old a person is, sometimes a parents can't relinquish their role, y'know. Always knowing what's best through their own eyes which isn't always what's best for their child. I personally have a good relationship with my parents, I get on very well with my Mum as we have a lot in common (art, making stuff...rock music n heavy metal) but me and my Dad are poles apart. I've rowed with my Dad a fair few times but that's got a lot better since I moved out years back, agreeing with the comment earlier about the space thing in a big way.

Well... I am full on with Voltaire, my parents or should I say mom did nothing on purpose to hurt me or make me sad... My dad then again has a VERY short temper and hits me and my sis sometimes D: its just one of those things iguess... But I love my mom!!

I'd also have to agree with voltaire... Even if your parents are the biggest assholes in the world you should never say you hate them... what if that was the alst thing you said to your parents... My mom kicked me out of the house (even though it was only for a day) and is trying to give up her custody of my older brother and I, and I still love her to death
