Write me a poem,

a song from the heart

Let the words fall out

Let me fall apart,

as I am held by some angel, with wings so bright

And eyes a wonderful tone, warm and light

The world has never seemed so shallow before as I lie and struggle right here on the floor.

This heart of mine has never run dry

So I will write this silly poem tonight

The pain can feel unbearable and I could cry and drown in dread

Life is cold,

One day you'll get old

The way the moon shines always felt so bold.

In the night I carve and in the day I starve

One day I'll wake up and be in your arms.

I hope and I pray

for the day I can say
