Michael Cash – Biography
Michael Cash is an American worship leader, recording artist, songwriter, producer, and speaker based in Pleasure Ridge Park, Louisville, Kentucky. Worship is at the heart of everything he does. Michael believes God has called him to use his musical gifts to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ, encourage believers, and reach those who have yet to experience the saving grace found in Christ. While he is best known for his acoustic-driven worship and singer-songwriter style, he also enjoys performing a wide variety of music that connects with audiences through honest lyrics, heartfelt storytelling, and memorable melodies.
Since entering the Louisville music scene in 2003, Michael has built a diverse career as both a solo artist and a member of the Michael Cash Band, CCJ Project, and LITTLE FISH. Throughout his career, he has performed at venues across the United States and shared the stage with nationally recognized artists including Sevendust, Shinedown, Pop Evil, Filter, Black Veil Brides, Fuel, Saliva, Candlebox, Mushroomhead, Taproot, Tantric, P.O.D., Stephen Pearcy (RATT), Steven Adler, Dizzy Reed, FLAW, and many others.
Michael's music has also reached television audiences through placements on MTV, VH1, E! News, and other national programming. His songs have been featured on shows including Teen Cribs, Is She Really Going Out With Him, When I Was Seventeen, Brooke Knows Best, Tough Love, Denise Richards: It's Complicated, WCG Ultimate Gamer, 101 Favorite Stars from Way Back Then, Insanely Pampered Hollywood Dogs, and additional television specials.
His recording career includes the 2013 mixtape AFTER ME, which reached No. 15 on the U.S. Top Rock Albums chart. He later released the studio album Don't Quit, featuring the songs "Perfect Dream" and his cover of "Cumbersome," further establishing his reputation as an independent recording artist.
In 2021, Michael stepped away from the mainstream music industry to devote his life more fully to serving the Lord Jesus Christ through worship, evangelism, discipleship, and outreach. Today, his ministry extends far beyond music. His passion is to proclaim the Gospel, strengthen the Church, and create worship experiences where people can encounter the presence of the Holy Spirit through healing, restoration, salvation, and renewed faith in Jesus Christ.
Michael has ministered through churches, conferences, mission events, festivals, recovery ministries, and community outreach programs, sharing the hope of Christ with audiences of all sizes. Whether leading a congregation in worship, performing original songs, or sharing his personal testimony, his mission remains the same—to glorify Jesus Christ and point people to Him.
Inspired by Philippians 4:13, Michael strives to live by the words, "I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me" (KJV), allowing that promise to guide both his ministry and everyday life.

Bands like Mommy's Cigarettes, Mr. Clit and the Pink Cigarettes, MUCHO MANGO, Malignant Vision, and my homies in Carrion are just some of the artists and bands I've had the opportunity to know, support, and share the scene with.
I've played a handful of shows with some of these bands, and I'm proud to call several of these people my friends. That's one of the things I love most about the underground music scene—the music is raw, personal, and real, and the people behind it become family.

🎤🎳 A Little About Me
I'm a singer-songwriter, touring musician, and professional bowler. Music and bowling are two of the biggest passions in my life, and I've been fortunate enough to pursue both across the country.
I attended Villanova University and Lindsey Wilson College, which was renamed Lindsey Wilson University in 2025. Before college, I graduated from Valley Traditional High School, after previously attending Pleasure Ridge Park High School.
As a musician, I'm a touring singer-songwriter, traveling throughout North America to perform concerts, write music, and connect with audiences. Music has taken me to many different places, and I'm always looking forward to the next stage, the next song, and the next adventure. 🎶
I'm also a competitive bowler and bowl under the United States Bowling Congress (USBC). I compete in leagues and tournaments throughout the Midwestern United States, constantly working to improve my game and compete at the highest level I can. 🎳
Two different worlds—music and bowling—but both require dedication, discipline, practice, and a willingness to keep pushing forward.
This is my life, and I'm proud to be doing what I love. 🎤🎳❤️

I'm happily married to a beautiful ebony Black queen, and yes, I'm a white man. It's 2026 and beyond, and I believe in loving and respecting everybody regardless of race, background, or where you come from. We're all human, and there's no room for hate in my world.
