I'd love to chat with everyone on here, but sadly I hardly have any free time so don't be offended if I don't talk to you or take a while to get back to you especially if you just say hi :]..
Met up with my old friend Skye tonight. Great hanging out again and just makes me feel I really need to be with someone into my kind of music. All the people I get on best with are even if they are only friends.
I know they say opposites attract but not so sure in my experiences.
OK so I went in a "date" with someone called Abi this evening. By date it was more of a friendly no pressure thing.
Really glad I did as we got on really well and not a single awkward silence.
Love to see her again but not sure in what way.
Be good to just be friends and progress from there.
However I maybe messed that up a bit by kissing her when dropped her off home. Should have just hugged and left it at that.
Ah how complicated life and relationships are... Pretty much broken up with someone I have been with 4 and half years and lived together for 3 years.
Currently on a break. She stopped with friends for a week or so but was back yesterday which was very awkward just not even really talking. Not sleeping in the same bed, not eating together, not doing anything together.
The next time we actually sit down and chat I really do feel it will be a complete end to the relationship and even though it is probably the best thing for both of us (we have just drifted apart and COVID hasn't helped) I will certainly be very sad for a while. This is my longest relationship and we have so many memories especially prior to COVID.
Also what makes it even more complicated than any past relationships is that we jointly own the house we live in so we'll have to work out what'll happen with that. One of us buys the other out and stays here or sell the house and both move. Both are going to be very difficult financially.
Anyway sharing my thoughts has helped a little bit.
